Sunday Salon: Orange July Wrap-Up

Another Orange July has come and gone, and I want to thank all who participated. As I cruise around the blogosphere, I can tell many of you read great books for this annual month of Orange love. Didn't get enough Orange? Don't fret - we'll be doing it again in January!

I am happy to report that I finished seven book for Orange July:

WINNERS:
Fugitive Pieces by Anne Michaels (1997) (review)

SHORT LIST:
I Was Amelia Earhart by Jane Mendelsohn (1997) (review)
Fingersmith by Sarah Waters (2002) (review)

LONG LIST:
La Cucina by Lily Prior (2002) (review)
The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri (2004) (review)
What Was Lost by Catherine O'Flynn (2007) (review)
American Wife by Curtis Sittenfeld (2009) (review)

My favorites were The Namesake and Fingersmith, but I enjoyed each novel is some way.

See you in January!
